About the Ford Bronco
As one of the most iconic off-road vehicles in automotive history, itās easy to see how the Ford Bronco has been adored by adventurous driving enthusiasts for generations. Since the Bronco has a personality as unique and expressive as the individuals that drive it, the Bronco is endlessly customizable with 7 individual trim levels and over 200 dealer-installed accessories.
When designing the Bronco, Ford engineers placed great emphasis on combining the toughness of an F-Series truck and the adrenaline-pumping performance of the Mustang. The final product means youāll enjoy class-leading off-road capability and Built Wildā¢ durability to help you tackle even the most difficult terrain. Regardless of how far the journey takes you, the tech-centric cabin helps you stay both comfortable and connected. Now it’s your turn to venture off the beaten path and write your own chapter in the storied legacy of the Ford Bronco.
What the Critics Say
“Nevertheless, I believe the Ford Bronco is well worth that wait if you’re able. It’s comfortable on the road, far more than its primary competitor, and it’s loaded with solid technology and ample creature comforts. Whether it’s headed for the dirt or not, the Bronco is the latest in a long line of home runs from the big Blue Oval.” — Roadshow by CNET
“Otherwise the Bronco is a win in every metric. From its character and design to its thoughtful and helpful drive modes and wide availability of its off-road package, the Bronco is the best buy among its competition for most shoppers. Whether you stick with the turbo four-cylinder or opt for the turbo V6, the Bronco has sufficient and smooth power for daily driving with a quick-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission.” — Edmunds

Ford Bronco Features
Go-Anywhere Performance
True to its heritage, the Ford Bronco continues to be synonymous with off-road capability and rugged engineering. Youāll have the freedom to choose between the robust four-cylinder torque from the 2.3L EcoBoostĀ® 4-cylinder or muscular 2.7-literEcoBoostĀ® V6. For those in search of the ultimate low-speed rock-crawling capability, a segment-first 7-speed (6+1) manual transmission can be paired with the available advanced 4×4 system with automatic on-demand engagement. For an even more responsive feel both on and off the road, there’s also an available segment-first 10-speed automatic transmission. Sitting atop the range is the 3.0L EcoBoostĀ® V6 that produces 418 horsepower for the Bronco Raptor.
All Bronco models come standard with an independent front suspension for improved control and a rugged solid axle design featuring coil springs with five locating links at the rear. There are also two distinct 4X4 systems for drivers to choose from. These include a two-speed electronic shift-on-the-fly transfer case and the advanced system which features a two-speed electromechanical transfer case with auto mode. The exclusive Terrain Management Systemā¢ with G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Terrain) Modesā¢ is designed to help drivers better navigate any type of off-road situation.
Heritage Styling
From the very early stages of the design process, the Ford Bronco was inspired by its first-generation variant and reflects an exterior look thatās equal parts modern and heritage-inspired. Viewed from the side, youāll notice its signature squared-off profile featuring wide flared fenders and chiseled edges. Both two-door and four-door models feature a fully boxed, high-strength steel chassis that contributes to its available best-in-class suspension travel. All Bronco models also offer a thrilling open-air driving experience. As a matter of fact, roof panels on all models can be removed by one person by unlocking the latches from the interior. If you’re torn between cloth tops or hard tops, four-door models can be optioned with both for the ultimate in versatility. Trail sights located on the front fenders also act as tie-downs, just like those on first-generation Bronco, with a 150-pound capacity for securing longer items.
Adventure-Ready Interior
Achieving harmony between supportive comfort and trail-ready ergonomics, the interior of the Ford Bronco is purpose-built and ready for adventure. No matter how messy your endeavors get, optional washable rubberized floors with integrated drains and marine-grade vinyl seating surfaces make cleanup simple and quick. Interior color choices were inspired by both natural palettes and outdoor gear. True to its heritage, the dashboard of the Bronco features gauges and controls which are both prominently visible and intuitive. For the ultimate in connectivity, you can access your favorite multimedia features via a standard 12-inch SYNCĀ® 4 system. This system works seamlessly with the FordPass Performance app which allows Bronco owners to easily plan, navigate, and share their off-road adventures with over 1,000 curated trail maps. Another exclusive feature offered inside the Bronco are attachment points integrated directly into the instrument panel for easily mounting 12-volt power devices such as cameras, navigation units, phones, or other devices.
